For the purposes of understanding some of what you are about to read, I have provided A brief history of The Brain Bank:

The Brain Bank began as a small group of friends that sent e-mail to eachother daily, sometimes within minutes of each e-mail. The discussions became an expected part of the group's days, and sometimes the group considered bringing in the opinions of people outside the group. This web site has been created as a way of having that outside input.

The subjects of the daily e-mails were (and still are) usually song titles, and this has continued into this site, but the body of discussions rarely have anything to do with their subjects. On the other hand, sometimes they do, and it's easy to see this when it occurs. Just don't let these titles fool you into thinking that anything relates in the body. The reason behind this is "We are strange", so we recommend that you just take it in stride and read on in the discussions.
